Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office arrested three Bakersfield residents Monday afternoon after a search warrant served in the 1200 block of Smith Street turned up thousands of dollars’ worth of recently stolen property, the agency reported.

A 57-year-old third-strike inmate was granted parole May 27, according to the Kern County District Attorney’s Office, which opposed his release.
