A search has expanded for a teenage girl swept away by a big wave at a Southern California beach. The girl was walking with her mom and brother along Treasure Island Beach in the city of Laguna Beach when they were pulled into the ocean Tuesday evening. Two bystanders rescued the mother and son, who are stable, but the girl remains missing. Officials say that a man who helped also needed rescue from 10-foot waves. Crews have expanded the search to adjacent beaches and are using divers, rescue vessels and air resources. The surf remains high with waves forecast to reach up to 10 feet high through Thursday night.

Officials say all four crew members ejected safely after two Navy jets collided and crashed during an air show at a military base in Idaho.
