Sprinklers. It's a no-win situation and right now I'm not winning. No one really wins with sprinklers and if they do, victories are temporary. Sprinkler heads are always breaking off. If not breaking off, jamming up. Given how pitched the battle can be, if you're smart, you'll take a tie over a victory any day.

A while back our sprinklers stopped working. They just quit. Not a drop of water. It was a complete system failure. I checked the control box. It was on "run," but the sprinklers weren't running. I was running — running out of luck.
