A Thursday vote by police officers at Cal State Bakersfield points to an unfavorable work atmosphere. More than two-thirds of the 13 officers voted no confidence in their police chief, Marty Williamson, last week.

Tuesday morning, university spokeswoman Jennifer Self confirmed that Williamson is on a 30-day paid administrative leave, but declined to comment further.
