Kern County Animal Services will host the seventh annual Mega Pet Adoption Event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Park at River Walk, 11200 Stockdale Highway.

Touted as the region’s largest animal welfare event, the free gathering will convene animal shelters, rescue groups and pet welfare organizations from across the county.
