A man was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison plus five years for a shooting murder Tuesday morning in Kern County Superior Court.

Ira Kindle, who turns 47 years old at the end of the year, was found guilty of first-degree murder with a firearm. He appeared in court Tuesday in a wheelchair with his defense attorney Monica Burmudez.
