One man died and a second suffered minor injuries Saturday when they walked in front a vehicle outside a crosswalk, according to the Bakersfield Police Department. 

Martin Alberto Alcantar, 62, of Bakersfield was taken to Kern Medical where he died just before 10:46 p.m. following the incident just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Dolores and Kern streets, according to the Kern County coroner's office.Â
