The Kason Guyton murder trial was still pending Friday afternoon after the jury on the case failed to reach a unanimous decision on whether the defendant was guilty of shooting and killing the 5-year-old boy in 2017.

The jury reached a partial verdict in the trial in which defendant Jonathan Knight was charged with the 2017 shooting and a 2019 shooting.
