At special meeting, residents ask supervisors to continue funding services

Members of the public encouraged the Kern County Board of Supervisors to continue supporting public services even as massive reductions from the state and federal governments are leaving a hole in the county’s budget.

At a special meeting of the board Monday evening, more than a dozen members of the public asked supervisors to continue their support for various needs throughout the county.
